Community Prevention Resources of Warren County, Inc. (CPRWC) is a non-profit agency dedicated to promoting the mental and physical health, wellness and safety of individuals and families of our community by addressing family issues and the prevention of substance abuse through education and treatment services.

We serve the community by offering a comprehensive selection of the most current educational programs and an extensive information resource center, offering a variety of materials that address issues of substance abuse, alcohol, tobacco, internet safety, bullying, mental health, driving safety, general health and other current topics of concern to the community. We are an affiliate of the New Jersey Prevention Network (NJPN) whose primary mission is to decrease substance abuse in the state by developing and implementing effective prevention programs. Each county has member agencies that are strong community advocates to promote substance abuse prevention. Our dedicated and professional staff is here to serve you with the highest level of integrity, excellence, vision, inclusion and sensitivity.

Community Action Partnership (CAP) is a group of community members committed to building a safe, healthy, and drug-free community by preventing and reducing substance abuse among youth. This is a six-week course, beginning February, 2012
Topics include: making your home safe & less frustrating for your child, play, understanding the developmental characteristics of young children, communication, building a solid self-image, helping children learn right from wrong, and positive forms of discipline. Certificates awarded upon successful completion of the course.
Managing Emotions: Tough Choices®
beyond Anger Management 2012

This is an eight-week course, beginning February 2012
Topics include: information and education exercise, relaxation skill building, and an activity cognitively appropriate and related to the topic. The goal of the program is to provide the experiences and tools necessary to gain the insights and skill practice needed to recognize a full range of emotions and associated behaviors and the skills to express them productively. Certificates awarded upon successful completion of the course.
